OVERLAND PARK, Kansas (WPVI) -- A 6-year-old Kansas boy is getting a jump on a job interview with his local police force.

KMBC-TV reports, Oliver Davis hopes to be a police officer when he grows up.

He's not sure if he wants to protect the highways on a motorcycle, or operate out of a patrol car - he has toy versions of both. But he wants to do what he can to help the community.

On Friday, he set up a doughnut stand for officers in the area.

Oliver says they are his heroes, and one day he wants to be one of them.
