Caring for those who care

WILLIAMSTOWN, N.J. (WPVI) -- A south Jersey healthcare worker who has helped so many is now in need, and a local rescue crew is trying to help.

The Monroe Township Ambulance and Rescue Association is holding a round-the-clock food drive for the worker.

She's been out of work for 5 months following back surgery, and feeding 4 young children she cares for is tough.

Matt Mills of the Ambulance and Rescue Association had nothing but praise for the recipient of Tuesday's food drive "This lady spent most of her time working two jobs, and her jobs always involved helping others. Charity is just a real huge part of her life. And now we're looking for us in the community to be charitable towards her."

Food donations can be dropped off at the rescue station on Corkery Lane in Williamstown, New Jersey.
