Catholic schools week

DELRAN, N.J. (WPVI) -- In South Jersey, a number of catholic schools celebrated a special mass Monday morning.

Bishop David O'Connell of Trenton, presided over this open mass, here at Holy Cross Academy In Delran.

It was the first day of catholic schools week, and several local parishes and schools gathered here to celebrate, reflect, and to honor faculty and staff-members.

Catholic schools week annually starts the last Sunday of January, and this year's theme: "Communities of faith, knowledge and service".
