CeaseFirePa donates backpacks

STRAWBERRY MANSION (WPVI) -- The school year is starting off right for students in Strawberry Mansion.

Each of the children at Richard Wright Elementary chose a brand new book bag Thursday, free of charge.

The giveaway is courtesy of Cease Fire PA, an organization that promotes gun safety.

The students were able to try on the bags before taking them home.

They also scored free school supplies.
