Celebrating a century of experience and wisdom

NORTH WALES, Pa. -- It was a very special birthday celebration at the Brookdale Montgomery Memory Care campus in North Wales.

Mary McKeown was surrounded by family and friends Thursday, to help her ring in her 102nd year.

Mary, who grew up in Philadelphia, started working as a seamstress at the age of 15.

That was in 1929, the year the Great Depression began.

She didn't retire until she was 92 years old.
