Delaware river watershed River Days

PENN'S LANDING (WPVI) -- 15 million people rely on the Delaware River Watershed for their clean drinking water, and Wednesday, there is a new effort to protect it.

Some high school students demonstrated water quality testing at Penn's Landing, to kick off the "River Days" initiative.

Over the next 6 weeks, local environmental centers are planning a series of events to teach the public about caring for the water, from stream clean-ups, to nature walks.
