Philadelphia charter school students got to spend the day Tuesday learning at the Franklin Institute (WPVI)

Philadelphia charter school students got to spend the day Tuesday learning at the Franklin Institute.

The kids from Reach Cyber Charter School had a fun-filled day in classrooms at the museum designed to develop their STEM skills.

STEM stands for science, technology, engineering and math.

Tuesday, the children got to build their own solar-powered car models, experiment with magnetic trains and conduct center of gravity experiments.

They also got to explore the exhibits too.
