'Dude. Be Nice' campaign helps to spread kindness

READING (WPVI) -- There's a new campaign aimed at spreading joy and kindness.

It's a project called "Dude. Be Nice" and the latest stop on the "nice" tour landed them at Reading High School in Berks County.

They planned a very special surprise for a pretty awesome man.

Bobby Weitzel has been volunteering at Reading High since 1969.

The students say he's the heartbeat of the school and always good for a high five.

Together with the "Dude. Be Nice" project, they planned a whole day for Bobby.

There was a cheer squad, gifts, hugs and tears.
