"Flower Work" art exhibit

FAIRMOUNT (WPVI) -- A brand new exhibit will debut Friday at the Philadelphia Museum of art.

Called flower-work, it features fabrics woven by women in Pakistan and India.

The artists live in the Punjab region and pass their craft down through generations of family members.

This is the first such exhibit in the U.S.

The textiles have also offered inspiration to high fashion designers.
