Girls Inc. visits 6abc studios

WYNNEFIELD HEIGHTS (WPVI) -- A local non-profit has been making a difference in the lives of young people for decades and we had the pleasure of hosting this very special group on Wednesday.

Girls Inc. of Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey spent the day at the 6abc Studios.

Its mission is to inspire and empower all girls to be strong, smart, and bold.

While here at Action News the 11 to 15-year-olds spent time with television professionals from the news department, art department, programming, our social media team and managers.
