Going "Over the Edge" for kids

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (WPVI) -- A unique fundraising event encouraged people to rapel down a 15 story building in Atlantic City Friday.

The nonprofit organization "Big Brothers Big Sisters of Atlantic and Cape May Counties" teamed up with "Over the Edge".

Participants rappelled from the roof of the Sheraton Atlantic City Convention Center Hotel in what we're assured was a completely safe environment.

The event raised funds to promote mentorship for children.
