"Government Day" in Cheltenham Township

CHELTENHAM TWP., Pa. (WPVI) -- "Government Day" was celebrated Friday in Cheltenham Township, Montgomery County.

Dozens of children between the ages of 6 and 14 spent the day getting an inside look at government operations.

They toured a Police station- including holding cells and police vehicles.

And they were introduced to a K9 team.

There was also a scavenger hunt and a mock trial.
