Hotel donation to the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society

CENTER CITY (WPVI) -- The Logan Hotel in Center City is doing its part to beautify the state.

Officials there presented a 52 thousand dollar check to the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society.

On New Year's Eve the Logan pledged to donate 10 percent of each guest's tab to the organization.

This was the result of that initiative.

Wednesday night's event was held at the hotel's new rooftop lounge, called "assembly".
