VIDEO: Cellist plays after deadly bombing
An Iraqi cellist played amidst the rubble after a deadly bombing in Baghdad on Tuesday.

The sound of bombs going off in Baghdad, Iraq are a sad, dangerous and deadly reality.

But after a car bomb lit up the skies Tuesday, killing 20 people in its path, another sound followed. And this sound was far more powerful.

As people picked up the pieces of the wreckage, Iraqi symphony cellist Karim Wasfi walked into the blast center, took out his cello, and began playing.

"Obviously, I cannot challenge the bombs with my cello, but when things are abnormal and so insane, we have an obligation to be dedicated to making life sustained," he says.
