Kidney Action Day in Philadelphia

CENTER CITY (WPVI) -- Many people took advantage of free health screenings in Center City Friday.

The American Kidney fund held its annual Kidney Action Day to raise awareness for kidney disease.

It often has no symptoms until the late stages, so getting tested is the only way to stop it before it's too late.

In addition to free screenings, the event offered tips for prevention.
