Lemonade stand for welcoming newcomers

MOUNT LAUREL, N.J. (WPVI) -- Some Mount Laurel third graders are fundraising so they can turn a good idea into reality.

This Fleetwood Elementary class launched a lemonade stand.

The profits will pay for welcome bags for other children who transfer into their school.

They're hoping those bags will ease the transition for the newcomers.

They'll be full of supplies like pencils and stickers, and a letter explaining the rules of lunch and recess.
