PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Anyone hoping to attend this year's Liberty Medal Ceremony will have a chance to get tickets next week.

Georgia Congressman and Civil Rights icon John Lewis is this year's recipient.

The National Constitution Center said Tuesday it will release a limited number of free tickets to the ceremony online next Wednesday, August 17th, at 10 a.m.

Members will have a chance to reserve them the night before.

The ceremony itself is set for September 19th at 7 p.m. at the National Constitution Center on Independence Mall, and 6abc is a proud broadcast partner once again this year.

The free general public tickets can be reserved at constitutioncenter.org or by calling 800-439-9835. Guests are limited to two tickets per household.
