Local K9 team competes and wins

ESSINGTON, Pa. (WPVI) -- Congratulations are going out to this local K9 police team from Mercer county.

They got high scores in a national competition, sort of the K9 police olympics.

18 year veteran detective Joe Angarone and his narcotics K9 Bela, placed 7th overall, in the United States Police Canine Association National Scent trials, held in Philadelphia earlier this month.

Various K9 teams from across the country competed, performing various police activities.
