Man shot inside car at shopping center in Bear, Delaware

BEAR, Del. (WPVI) -- Delaware State Police are investigating a shooting in a shopping center parking lot in Bear.

It happened in broad daylight, at 10:00 a.m. Saturday in the parking lot of the Sunset Station Shopping Center in the 1800 block of Pulaski Highway.

Police say a 23-year-old man was meeting with another man and a woman inside a silver passenger car when one of them shot him.

The victim was hit once in the upper body.

He managed to get out of the car and run to one of the stores in the shopping center to seek help.

He's hospitalized in serious condition.

The suspects remain at large.
