May is Foster Parent Month

CENTER CITY (WPVI) -- Some foster parents were honored at Philadelphia City Hall.

May is Foster Parent Month and Monday, the city honored the most dedicated men and women who give a child a place to call home.

Officials also highlighted the need for more foster parents with thousands of children still in the city's care.
