NORTHEAST PHILADELPHIA -- Cyclists honored emergency responders in Northeast Philadelphia Tuesday.

The riders are taking part in the National EMS Memorial Bike Ride.

They stopped for lunch at the local 22 Philadelphia fire fighters hall.

The bike ride tries to raise awareness about the risks EMS workers take everyday, and honor those who have died in the line of duty.

The ride started in Boston on Saturday and they'll finish in Alexandria, Virginia Friday.
