NYC bar says it caters to pregnant women

Is this a disturbing business concept or viral hoax?

A new pub popped up on Manhattan's Lower East side recently, and it's news because it's marketing itself as "New York's first bar for pregnant women."

It's called Gestations, and the owners tweeted "The bigger the belly, the more you can drink. True for men and pregnant women."

Slogans include "Visit us on October 25 before that water breaks."

It sounds like a joke, but there's a sign outside that the company filed for a liquor license.

There's also an app associated with it.

Still, despite those bits of evidence, many say this is just an extreme marketing campaign.
