PECO gives away FREE fans

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- PECO is trying to help people stay cool as we approach the first official day of summer.

The utility is distributing 600 free fans today at senior centers in Philadelphia and the surrounding counties.

100 fans will be distributed Friday at the following six locations between 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m.

PECO says seniors should contact the location in their area in advance to make arrangements.
