Philabundance "Plate it forward" campaign

SOUTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Thursday was Hunger Action Day, and they gathered in South Philadelphia with the goal of finding ways to beat hunger.

Philabundance launched its month-long fundraiser and food drive to raise 50,000 meals for neighbors in need.

To help accomplish that goal, the non-profit is launching its "plate it forward" campaign, urging others to donate and volunteer.

It's all in honor of Hunger Action Month which is September.
