16th annual Caron Treatment Gala

CENTER CITY (WPVI) -- A Philadelphia business leader was honored Wednesday night at a special event in Center City.

In it's 16th year, the annual Caron Treatment Gala presented Independence Blue Cross CEO Dan Hilferty with the center's Award of Excellence.

Action News anchor Brian Taff served as the master of ceremonies.

The gala raised some $470,000 to benefit drug and alcohol addiction treatment.
