Philadelphia Zoo residents night on the town

CENTER CITY (WPVI) -- Hundreds of people showed up Thursday night for the Philadelphia Zoo's 6th Annual Global Conservation Gala at Hyatt at the Bellevue.

Guests had a chance to rub elbows with some of the Zoo's residents, as well as celebrate a great cause.

The gala honored some of the Zoo's most generous and innovative supporters.

6ABC President and General Manager Bernie Prazenica, and Mayor Elect Jim Kenney were also on hand to show their support.
