Recognized for their efforts in the community

HUNTING PARK (WPVI) -- An early Thanksgiving feast was the reward for a select group of senior citizens Wednesday.

Philadelphia residents nominated them for community service awards.

They were recognized during a luncheon at the Lenfest Center in Hunting Park.

State Representative Leslie Acosta was there to thank them for working to improve their communities.
