WEST DEPTFORD, N.J. (WPVI) -- Students and staff at one Gloucester County school are rallying around one of their own.

West Deptford Middle School hosted a charity basketball game Tuesday night.

All proceeds go to Isaiah's New Ride.

Isaiah is 13 and suffers from cerebral palsy.

He desperately needs a new van that will allow him to travel more easily and be more independent.

Isaiah's mom Melissa Liles says she's overwhelmed by the outpouring of support.

"We couldn't imagine the amount of support they've done for us with this van. It's such a needed thing for him right now at his age," Liles said.

The school is planning another fundraiser for Isaiah later this month.
