Wisconsin resident Bud Caldwell lost his wife of 56 years two years ago.
And every single day since, rain or shine, the 82 year-old visits a park bench dedicated to his his sweetheart Betty.
He brings her a daisy and a penny and talks to her about his day.
The daisy and the penny symbolize their two favorite songs: "Pennies From Heaven" and "A Daisy a Day".
But during a snowstorm a few weeks ago, Bud's usual path was blocked.
So two park employees grabbed shovels and cleared the way for him to be with his Betty.
The simple act of kindness meant the world to Bud.
"Two young men did something so nice for one old man," he said.
Those park workers have now promised Bud that his path to Betty will be cleared for him all winter long.
