WESTVILLE, N.J. (WPVI) -- A South Jersey girl celebrated her Sweet 16 on Sunday but asked her friends not to bring any gifts.

Natalie Doggett and her guests danced the night away at the Deptford Skating Center in Westville, Gloucester County.

Natalie told her guests that instead of a present, she wanted them to make a donation to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.

Natalie had open heart surgery at CHOP when she was just 10 days old and her party was her way of giving back.

"It breaks my heart to see there is kids who their parents either can't afford the medical bills or their heart disease is so severe. CHOP saved my life and I feel like I really have to help other kids grow up happy," she said.

No word yet how much money was raised for the hospital.
