The benefits of shade trees

WILMINGTON, Del. (WPVI) -- Furry friends at the Delaware Humane Society are getting a little help from a group of volunteers.

Wednbesday afternoon, 20 employees from Bank of America planted dozens of trees around the grounds.

Eventually, they will grow to give the animals shade from the hot summer sun.

The trees also help reduce storm runoff.
