The "Oval" returns

CENTER CITY (WPVI) -- An outdoor oasis is reopening for the summer, along the Ben Franklin Parkway.

City officials held a ribbon cutting party Wednesday to celebrate the return of "The Oval", at Eakins Oval.

It features movies at night, interactive games, a rotating lineup of food trucks, and a beer garden.

It officially opens to the public Thursday and runs through Sunday, August 20th.
