SPRING GARDEN (WPVI) -- The Philadelphia Boys Choir just donated 25 hundred dollars from their holiday concert ticket sales.

The money will help fund renovations at the former Spring Garden School, which is being turned into 37 affordable housing units.

War veterans and low-income seniors will be moving into the homes once they're ready.

The building on North 12th street had been empty for decades.
