Variety Developmental Ctr. day at the Zoo

PHILADELPHIA ZOO (WPVI) -- Dozens of campers enjoyed a free trip to the Philadelphia Zoo Wednesday.

All of the campers are from Variety Developmental Center, which helps children with disabilities.

Action News caught up with them as they were feeding the hippos.

The zoo purchases vegetables that the children grow each year, and that's what they used to feed some of the animals.
