VIDEO: West Philly woman turns 106!

PHILADELPHIA -- There was a very special birthday celebration for a lovely woman from West Philadelphia.

Azlene Giles turned 106 on Saturday.

Members of the Holy Church of the Living God helped her celebrate with a service and plenty of singing.

Giles taught bilingual kindergarten in North Philadelphia until her retirement.

She now spends her time sewing, reading and playing with her cat.

Giles says her secret to a long, rewarding life is smiling and having a pleasant attitude.
