Statistics show the average couple spends about $26,000 dollars on their big day, but there are ways to save if you get the location right.

Wallethub.com surveyed the 150 biggest cities across the country, weighing everything from the cost of the venues and the number of event spaces to the availability of hotels and vendors.

The top five cities on the list include: Orlando, Florida; Las Vegas, Nevada; Atlanta, Georgia; Tampa, Florida; and Springfield, Missouri.

WalletHub says you get the most bang for your buck in those cities and the weather also factored into sending most of them to the top spots.

On the flip side, a wedding will cost you big bucks if you get married in one of the bottom five cities, which include: Anchorage, Alaska; Worcester, Massachusetts; Newark, New Jersey; Yonkers, New York; and Moreno Valley, California.

Philadelphia landed in the 123 spot on the list out of 150.
