Working toward a cleaner Chester

CHESTER, Pa. (WPVI) -- The city of Chester is cleaner, thanks to volunteers who helped pick up trash and more Wednesday.

Mayor Thaddeus Kirkland, city council members and volunteers rolled up their sleeves to help with a 7 hour cleanup.

It is part of a week long cleanup to inspire everyone to help clean up.

Chester is also offering free shredding, electronics recycling and waste disposal.
