Young student, adult achievement

EGG HARBOR TWP., N.J. (WPVI) -- In an age of texting and social media, one new jersey youngster was honored for his rather old-fashioned hobby.

11 Year old Hunter Grib is the youngest person in the state of have obtained his ham radio license.

Thursday night, in Egg Harbor, he was presented with a state proclamation celebrating his achievement.

Hunter put in many hours studying the basics of electronics and even learned FCC rules to pass the test.
