Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz is quickly becoming a fan favorite in Philadelphia, and according to a restaurant in his home state of North Dakota, he is also a hefty tipper.

FARGO, N.D. (WPVI) -- Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz is quickly becoming a fan favorite in Philadelphia, and according to a restaurant in his home state of North Dakota, he is also a hefty tipper.

During the recent Eagles bye week, Wentz and some friends went to the Herds and Horns restaurant in Fargo.

It was a large group of friends, because they ran up a $1,000 bill.

A restaurant spokesperson tells Action News that Wentz not only picked up the tab, he left a $500 dollar tip.
