SOUTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- My apologies to Chase Utley, but Carson Wentz is the man. Even on a day when he and the offense were not at their best, he threw two touchdown passes.

Wentz leads the NFL with 19 touchdown passes, and has the most TD passes through the first eight games in Eagles history. Right now, it's Wentz's world, and we're just living in it.

Wentz to Ertz - the dynamic duo - Carson once again hooked up with his favorite target. Zach Ertz has six touchdowns through eight games. He's never had more than four in a season. In fact, he already has as many touchdowns as he did his last two seasons combined.

Doug Pederson says Ertz and Wentz are attached at the hip and it shows. Ertz leads all TEs in touchdowns, yards, and receptions.

All that said, I'm worried about the offensive line. Carson Wentz was hit a lot and sacked four times today. The team clearly missed Jason Peters, and Denver comes in here next week with the best defense in the league and a much better pass rush than the 49ers.

Lane Johnson told me despite the fact they won by 23, he feels like they lost this game, because they played so poorly. Big V concurred.

Big changes need to come for them to head into the bye, 8-1.
