Meet the Espositos: A Villanova love story

HOUSTON (WPVI) -- Jim and Patty Esposito met at Villanova her junior year, his senior. They were introduced by their friends Pat and Julie.

Both couples got married, and for the past 35 years, they've followed the Wildcats to every game, everywhere.

"We've calculated that we've driven around the world twice by how much we've driven," said Jim Esposito, class of '79.

"We have season tickets with them, we sit next to them," said Patty Esposito, class of '80.

The Espositos have three kids and, you guessed it, they all went to Villanova.

"We brought them to the games as babies," said Patty Esposito.

And like many of the Nova fans packing the stadium in Houston tonight, they brought their good luck charms.

"I have lucky clothes, and I'm going to be wearing my lucky clothes I've worn this whole run in the NCAA," said Patty Esposito.
