The student newspaper at the University of Delaware is the latest to take the "lady" out of the name of a women's sports team.

The review posted a letter from the editors saying it's dropping the "Lady" from the Lady Hens when writing about the school's female teams.

They say it's " inherently sexist," derogatory and redundant since hens are female.

The University of Tennessee recently made the same decision.

But fans and players there are actually fighting to keep the term "Lady" in the Lady Vols saying it's part of their history and identity.
