VILLANOVA, Pa. (WPVI) -- Villanova's football team is in the quarterfinals of the FCS National Championship tournament and there's a unique twist to their match-up.

Their run at another national championship continues Saturday against San Houston State - a team they have never played before.

However the Cats know their coach all too well. K.C. Keeler spend 11 years at the University of Delaware - Villanova's biggest rival.

"It is unusual. We've known each other a long time, back to his days at Delaware and Rowan. He's a good man, he's a good coach," said Andy Talley, Villanova Head Coach.

When Keeler was out of work last year, Coach Talley invited him here to hang around practice and games.

With Keeler coming back to beat Tally, is he worried he may have learned some tricks?

"Not really, I think K.C. knows us pretty well. He has all 13 games that we have played this year so there's no secrets," said Coach Talley.

"He's a good guy. When I was out of football for a year. He was one of the first guys to call me and say, 'Hey come over and watch practice," said K.C. Keeler, Sam Houston State Coach.

It's no secret that the Wildcats run wild and led by quarterback John Robertson, Villanova averages nearly 240 yards rushing per game.

"We have come to be known as a running team so we are looking forward to that this Saturday," said Kevin Monangai.

Villanova and Sam Houston State and both ranked in the top 10 in the country for rushing.
