If you've ever had trouble with your computer, you know how frustrating it can be, but imagine experiencing the same problem over and over and over again.

If you've ever had trouble with your computer, you know how frustrating it can be, but imagine experiencing the same problem over and over and over again.

Stockton University student Katie Sehl contacted the Action News Troubleshooters, sick and tired of problems with her $963 Toshiba laptop.

The keys A, B, and N would not work.

"It was very difficult to type the word banana so it was really good I didn't need that for my papers," Sehl said. "I couldn't do anything. I couldn't even click to type in my password or anything."

Sehl says just a few months after she got it, she sent the laptop to the Toshiba Repair Depot.

"They went and replaced the motherboard, sent it back to me and it was working OK for about a month, month and a half, and then certain keys stopped working," Sehl said.

So Sehl shipped it back again.

"It worked for the first two weeks I had it and then the same keys stopped working again," Sehl said.

Then a third repair attempt.

"And the same keys stopped working again," Sehl said.

You get the picture.

After a fifth time, Sehl thought to herself, "I don't have time for this. I need to do my papers. I have school."

So Sehl said no more repairs and asked for a replacement.

"And the women I spoke to said, 'We cannot replace it because it is not under warranty,'" Sehl recalled.

That was the case even though the problems began and repair attempts were made during the one-year warranty.

Feeling defeated, Sehl contacted the Action News Troubleshooters via Call for Action.

"An hour and a half after I talked to her, I get a call from Toshiba saying, 'Hi, we're going to replace your laptop.' It was super quick and super amazing and I was ecstatic," Sehl said.

A bonus? Sehl's new laptop is an upgraded model.

"And I really don't think it would have happened if it weren't for Call for Action. I think they're amazing," Sehl said.
