Selfie prank tricks friends into taking hilarious photos

There is a new prank going viral that tricks your friends into accidentally sending you hilarious selfies.

Some iPhone users who use iOS8 have been tricking their friends into sending horrific selfies - often off-centered, too close or unflattering.

First, you send your friend a text with instructions on how to do it: "You see the camera button next to where you type at? Hold it down and slide your finger up to the other camera button that's gonna come up and hold it then release it..."

The promising reward is a whole new set of photo filters.

But it's all a trick! Your friends are unaware that they end up sending a very unflattering picture, looking confused and not at their best.
