Teen arrested after spotted with gun on Philadelphia highway

SOUTHWEST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A 17-year-old boy was arrested following a brief barricade situation in Southwest Philadelphia.

It happened around 11 a.m. Thursday on the 6500 block of Theodore Street.

Police said they saw the teenager with a gun on the highway.

He was then spotted running inside a building where he refused to come out.

The teen has since been placed into police custody.

No injuries were reported.
