Teen chases away burglar in California

A 13-year-old girl came face to face with a burglar in her Northern California home.

Surveillance video shows a man walking up to a home in Turlock on Sunday afternoon.

Police say he rang the doorbell several times and then just decided to kick in the door.

The frightened teen hid in a closet and called police, but eventually the burglar found her.

She says she screamed and started to hit the man, forcing him to take off.
