UPPER MILFORD TWP., Pa. (WPVI) -- One lane has reopened after a rollover crash involving a heavy-duty platform lift truck on the Northeast Extension of the Pennsylvania Turnpike.

The crash happened at 5:30 a.m. Monday in the northbound lanes between the Quakertown and Lehigh Valley exits in Upper Milford Township.

Video from Chopper 6 HD showed an Elliott brand industrial lift truck lying on its side.

The driver was injured. The nature and extent of that person's injuries were not immediately clear.

Action News is told heavy-duty tow trucks were enroute to the scene to remove the overturned vehicle and that the crash left fuel spilled on the highway.

Both northbound lanes were completely blocked at the scene for more than two hours, causing a miles-long traffic backup.

One lane was finally back open by 8:30 a.m. There was no immediate word when the other lane would reopen.
