VIDEO: 2 injured in Boulevard crash
At least two serious injuries were reported after a crash Wednesday morning on the Roosevelt Boulevard in Northeast Philadelphia.

NORTHEAST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Two people were injured after a crash Wednesday morning on the Roosevelt Boulevard in Northeast Philadelphia.

The crash happened around 10:05 a.m. on the Boulevard at Horning Road.

According to police and witnesses, a disabled Infiniti sedan was parked on the side of the inner southbound lanes of the Boulevard.

While the driver had the hood up and was looking to see what the problem was, a Toyota Corolla slammed into the back of the Infiniti.

Police say the female driver of the Toyota was apparently trying to change lanes when she smashed into the Infiniti.

The driver of the Infiniti became stuck under the hood, the driver of the Toyota was injured as well.

A bystander rushed to the scene and removed a baby from the backseat of the Toyota as well as the driver.

Police say all three were taken to a local hospital.

The woman suffered a broken leg and the man suffered some injuries to his head, but both are expected to survive.

Luckily, the baby was uninjured.
