2 injured in vehicle crash in Wilmington

WILMINGTON, Del. (WPVI) -- Two people were injured in a 2-vehicle crash in Wilmington, Delaware.

It happened around 4:30 p.m. near the intersection of 4th and Union streets.

Police say one vehicle was preparing to make a turn when another vehicle heading east, struck it head-on.

The vehicle that was hit ended up on the sidewalk after knocking over a light pole.

Both drivers were taken to the hospital with injuries.

So far, there is no word on their conditions.
